The Granada Airport will debut a new international flight to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, in September. Transavia will operate these flights with two direct connections per week from Granada to the Dutch city.

The news was announced by the Mayor of Granada, Marifrán Carazo, during the CAPA Airline Leader Summit 2024 held in the city, attended by the delegate of the Andalusian Government in Granada, Antonio Granados, and the President of the Provincial Council, Francis Rodríguez.

Carazo emphasized the significance of this new connection for the city, marking a significant step in recovering international connections post-pandemic. This initiative is expected to boost tourism and the local economy, seizing the available opportunities.

The Provincial Council of Granada expressed satisfaction with the benefits this flight will bring to the region in terms of tourism, culture, and art. They also highlighted the collaboration among various institutions to promote this destination.
