The local company World Wypmar, dedicated to the manufacturing of cardboard packaging for the horticultural sector, has announced the start of its expansion project in the facilities of the Logistics Area of the port of Motril.
With an investment of one million euros, the company has requested authorization from the Board of Directors to build a new warehouse of 798 square meters on a surface area of 870.61 square meters. This expansion will be located next to its current plot and will be used for assembly and storage of products.
World Wypmar, a company established early in the Logistics Area of the port, has become a key player in the region, thanks to its commitment to the horticultural sector and its focus on providing quality packaging solutions.
The president of the Port Authority, José García Fuentes, expressed his satisfaction with the expansion of World Wypmar, highlighting the fundamental role that agriculture plays in Motril and the Costa Tropical. “Our agriculture is becoming increasingly competitive and requires packaging systems that guarantee the quality of products during transport. Companies like World Wypmar are leading the way with innovation and recyclable materials,” García Fuentes stated.
