On January 5th, the much-anticipated snow returned to Sierra Nevada, heralding a promising start to the year for winter sports enthusiasts. Recent snowfalls have accumulated depths ranging from 20 to 40 centimeters, providing a layer of powder snow that promises exceptional conditions for skiing and snowboarding.

At Sierra Nevada, 11 lifts are operational, granting access to 21 pristine trails, totaling 16 skiable kilometers. This update offers an excellent opportunity to relish a unique winter atmosphere in Sierra Nevada.

Following the recent snowfalls and strong winds, the weekend forecast includes partly cloudy intervals. By Sunday, a slight increase in temperature is anticipated, accompanied by weak to moderate frosts, most intense at higher elevations. Moderate northwest winds, occasionally strong at higher elevations and exposed areas, will characterize the weather conditions.
