Taking advantage of the momentum to get Zarzuela declared as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO, we present our show, THE MAGIC OF ZARZUELA.
In this performance, the most outstanding voices of our lyrical scene come together on one stage to bring you the most significant excerpts from well-known zarzuelas such as El Barberillo de Lavapiés, Agua, azucarillos y aguardiente, El Barbero de Sevilla, Gigantes y Cabezudos, El dúo de la Africana, La Revoltosa, Marina, El gato montés, and Los diamantes de la corona.
Featuring music by Federico Chueca, Ruperto Chapí, Emilio Arrieta, Asenjo Barbieri, Gerónimo Giménez, Fernández Caballero, and Soutullo and Vert, our grand live orchestra and the most prominent performers of today breathe life into this concert through their arias, duets, quartets, making the evening a truly magical moment… The Magic of Zarzuela.
