El Comandante Lara is the character portrayed by Luis Lara, a well-known comedian, presenter, and stand-up artist in Spain.
He rose to fame years ago as a regular contributor to the sports comedy radio show El Pelotazo, and since then, he has gradually become a true media phenomenon—appearing in newspapers, radio talk shows, television, voiceover work, and stand-up comedy.
Comandante Lara & Cía is the live show he’s currently performing on stage.
