“A Night in Havana” is a musical journey that transports the audience to those golden years in Cuba, through a wide range of genres such as Cha Cha Chá, Mambo, Son, Danzón, Cuban Pregón, Guajira, Bolero, and Cuban Salsa. A magical evening filled with Cuban flavor, emotion, and plenty of live music.
Founded in 2010 by pianist, teacher, and musical director José Manuel Bernáldez, and made up of eight professional musicians, the orchestra brings the greatest hits of Latin Jazz and Cuban music to audiences of all kinds, in the spirit of the great orchestras of the era, such as La Sonora Matancera, La Failde, and Orquesta Aragón, among others.
Over the years, they have built a solid artistic career, earning critical and public acclaim for their concerts and tours in theatres, auditoriums, and concert halls across Spain. They have also performed aboard the luxury train Al Andalus, appeared in TVE series, and participated in Spanish films.
