XXXVII “TROPIC OF EUROPE” CROSS-COUNTRY RACE

XXXIX EDITION GRAND PRIZE OF THE “UNIVERSO LORCA” DEPUTATION FUND 2026. 

Registration for the entire Circuit will begin on  Wednesday, January 14, 2026 , starting at 1:00 PM.

Registration for a single test:

Runners wishing to register for only one race must complete their registration for the respective races  by 2:00 PM on the Wednesday before each race . No registrations of any kind will be accepted on the day of the race, except for registration with the solidarity bib (see section D).

These athletes will register and pay online directly to the results management and timing company (Cruzando la meta) through the website  www.gpfgranada.es.  A fee  of €10 will be charged  and payable by the participant. In case of any issues, please contact us via email at  info@cruzandolameta.es

 Athletes registered in this modality will collect their bib number and their “Chip” on the day of the event, up to half an hour before the start of the event, with the accreditation of their ID card, at the secretariat of each event.

Registration of local runners:

Each organizing municipality will indicate, in the regulations of its event, the place where registration can be carried out.

A local athlete will be considered to be anyone who is registered in the municipality/s organizing each race, and must prove said registration status.

Resident status is not valid for this type of registration; only registered status is required. This registration is free and must be completed before 2:00 PM on the Wednesday prior to the race.  Local runner status is granted by the organizing municipality for each race.

D) I run for life campaign:

Athletes who have not formalized their registration within the established deadlines may participate in the event, notifying the organizers up to half an hour before the event, by acquiring the solidarity bib, for which they must pay the amount of €10 and in no case may they register as a local athlete.

Athletes registered in this category will run with a bib number from the Cancer Association, will not wear a timing chip, and will accept that they are not eligible for any prizes or trophies, although they will be entitled to all other services. Since they will not be timed, they will not appear in the race results.

This payment will be entirely donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer .

Likewise, a zero bib number is established   in the event, for all those people who, without participating, wish to collaborate with the association, with a voluntary contribution, delivering said contribution to the local organization for its entry.
