During the week, the resort is open from 9 am to 5 pm. However, if you’re looking for an extraordinary experience, you can enjoy night skiing on floodlit slopes on Thursday and Saturday from 7pm until 10pm.

Getting to Sierra Nevada from the Costa Tropical
Reaching Sierra Nevada from the Costa Tropical is a straightforward journey:
By Car:
- The most direct route is by car, taking approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. From the Costa Tropical, head north on the A-7 and then follow signs to Granada and Sierra Nevada. The scenic drive through the winding mountain roads offers breathtaking views along the way.
Public Transport:
- Bus services run regularly from various towns along the Costa Tropical to Granada’s central bus station, where you can catch a connecting bus to Sierra Nevada. The total travel time by bus is around 3 hours.
Private Transfer:
- Many tour operators and companies offer private shuttle services from the Costa Tropical directly to Sierra Nevada, providing a convenient and hassle-free option.
Parking areas in Sierra Nevada
At the station, there are several parking options:
Covered parking at Plaza de Andalucía (the most central and largest, with 2644 spaces, but also the most expensive: €22 for a day, €35 for a 2-day pass, €51 for a 3-day pass, €83 for a 5-day pass). New feature: you can now pay directly from your mobile.
Los Peñones parking (located in the upper area, now only for cars, no longer allows campervans, monitored from 8 am to 6 pm, €12 per day with 750 spaces).
Las Sabinas-Car parking (upper area, farther from the chairlift than the previous one, for cars and caravans, monitored from 8 am to 6 pm only in high season. Overnight stays are allowed but with no facilities, €5 per day with 513 spaces).
Km 31 Parking, 800 meters before reaching the station. Small, with only 100 spaces (€5 per day).
