Discover Finca El Pinero and Its Guided Tours on the Costa Tropical
Located in Almuñécar, in the heart of Granada’s Costa Tropical, Finca El Pinero is a family-run farm dedicated to growing tropical fruits such as mango, avocado, papaya, lychee, bananas, passion fruit, cherimoya, guava, and many more. Thanks to its privileged location, with an average annual temperature of 20°C, it provides the perfect environment for cultivating these delicious exotic fruits.
Founded in 2011 as a tribute to “El Pinero,” the grandfather of the current owners, the farm combines tradition and quality. Today, Finca El Pinero not only produces fruit for local businesses and direct shipments but also offers a unique guided tour experience available throughout the year.
Tour Details
The tours are designed for groups of a minimum of 10 people. The tours start at 12:00 PM and last for approximately 3.5 to 4 hours.
During the visit, guests can explore the tropical crops, learn about the production process, and even pick fruit directly from the trees.
After visiting the crops, the group heads to the viewpoint, where they can enjoy a complete lunch featuring tropical salads, Iberian cold cuts, barbecue, potatoes, dessert with fruits like rum-infused mango, cherimoya, and guava, along with coffee and local wines.
The cost of this experience is 50 euros per person.
Additional Services at the Farm
The farm has a small shop where visitors can purchase local products such as honey, wine, and freshly picked fruits. Additionally, during the summer months, guests can enjoy access to a swimming pool, which is available upon request when booking.

The farm is easily accessible by car, making it simple to reach this unique spot on the Costa Tropical. Reservations must be made in advance, with a minimum group size of 10 people and a maximum of 24 people.
